The stones then reach the gem-setters. They set the stones one by one with precision and in the exact same position on the watch. This exacting standard ensures that each stone shines to its fullest potential and is in harmony with the surrounding stones. Over time, the jewel-setting technique is repeated thousands of times to ensure that each and every stone set in a Rolex watch shines with the light of its soul, reflecting Rolex's relentless pursuit of excellence.

The gem-setters, like sculptors, meticulously handcraft their mounts for each stone using precious metals. The gemstones are set with the utmost precision, with each stone precisely aligned and calibrated in its place to ensure that it is securely mounted in a gold or platinum setting.

In addition to the quality of the stones, Rolex has other strict requirements for the setting, including the height and precise alignment, orientation and position of the stones, the regularity, solidity and proportions of the setting, as well as the fine finish of the metal mount. The watch brings a dazzling accent to the wearer's wrist.
